This medication is used to improve the formation of various scars, such as hypertrophic or keloid scars, acne scars, and surgical scars, after wound tissue treatment. It effectively manages unnecessary scar tissue that may remain after wounds have healed, helping to keep the skin healthy. Such scars can affect not only aesthetics but also the elasticity and function of the skin, and this medication helps alleviate these issues, aiding skin recovery. Especially hypertrophic and keloid scars can cause discomfort due to proliferated scar tissue, but this medication can alleviate those symptoms. Scars left from acne or surgery can also be effectively treated, improving the overall condition of the skin. Therefore, it is used for treatment after wound tissue.
