This medication is used to supplement vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C in various situations such as physical fatigue, during pregnancy and lactation, during illness and post-recovery, during growth periods, and in the elderly. It also helps prevent deficiencies in bone and dental development and rickets. It alleviates symptoms of beriberi and eye fatigue and improves pigmentation caused by sunlight or skin diseases (such as melasma and freckles). It also helps maintain health by preventing gum bleeding and nosebleeds. It alleviates various symptoms including neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, angular cheilitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, glossitis, eczema, dermatitis, etc. Additionally, it complements zinc and selenium to contribute to overall health improvement.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
Ages 12 and older and adults: 1 to 2 times daily, 1 tablet per dose
Children's dosage
Ages 8 to under 12: Once daily, 1 tablet per dose
Precautions
This medication should be used with caution by pregnant women, as taking more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily can increase the risk of congenital disabilities in the fetus, particularly during early pregnancy or among women who may become pregnant. Children who overdose on this medication may face the risk of death due to iron toxicity; therefore, it must be stored out of reach of children. People with high levels of calcium in the blood or certain systemic inflammatory diseases, renal disease patients should not take this medication. Persons allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication, infants under 12 months, individuals with iron metabolism disorders, and kidney stone patients should also avoid taking this medication. During the course of this medication, it is recommended to avoid taking phosphate, calcium supplements, certain antibiotics, antacids, as well as levodopa. It is also crucial to consult with a professional if menstrual changes or prolonged bleeding occur. Long-term high-dose use may increase the risk of neuropathy, liver damage, or osteoporosis, so caution is warranted. It is vital to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and method, and when administering to children, it should be done under adult supervision. The amount of vitamin A present in this medication can be adequately consumed through regular meals; therefore, the supplemental dosage should not exceed 5,000 IU daily. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea. Store the medication in a tightly sealed container away from children, in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer to another container.
