This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tears, sore throat, and heaviness of the head caused by nasal cold (acute rhinitis), allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 1 capsule after each meal, 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medicine contains a component called Sudafedrine, which may rarely cause serious skin reactions. If you develop fever, red skin, or blister-like symptoms, stop taking this medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age or children under 15 years of age. Also, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, those taking certain psychiatric medications or have recently stopped, and patients with severe hypertension should not take it. While taking this medicine, do not take other rhinitis treatments or cold medications that contain antihistamines or anti-motion sickness drugs. Particularly, individuals with allergic conditions such as urticaria, migraines, or food allergies, or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, those who are weak, pregnant or possibly pregnant women, and elderly individuals should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms such as hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash, itching, urinary difficulties, headache, or facial flushing occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Serious symptoms such as sudden severe headaches, vision disturbances, increased blood pressure, and muscle weakness may occur rarely; if such symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately. Do not give this medicine to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, ensure a doctor's examination is obtained. When taking this medication, be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and frequency and do not use it for prolonged periods. Drowsiness may occur, so avoid driving or operating machinery, and it is advisable not to consume alcohol. Store this medication out of the reach of children, in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer it to another container to preserve quality.
