Precautions

This medication should not be used on areas with specific skin infections. For example, it may worsen symptoms when there are bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or animal-borne skin infections. Additionally, individuals with a history of allergic reactions to this medication or its components should avoid use. It is also advisable not to use this medication on patients with otitis externa who have a perforated tympanic membrane, ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should also avoid using this medication. Those who have had hypersensitivity reactions to specific antibiotics should exercise caution when using this medication. Avoid using this medication on wounds around the eyes or breast area. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, and individuals with a history of allergies should use this medication cautiously. This product contains propylene glycol, so those sensitive to this component should be especially careful. There is a risk of skin infections, so if symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Prolonged use may cause thinning of the skin, pigmentation changes, or side effects such as acne, so it may be necessary to reduce the dosage or switch to another medication. Using this medication over large areas for an extended period can affect the entire body, necessitating regular checks. If symptoms do not improve or worsen during use, discontinue immediately, and it is advisable to stop use as soon as possible. Sensitization reactions may occur, so if symptoms such as itching, redness, or swelling appear, stop using the medication. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water and seek ophthalmic care if symptoms are severe. Pregnant women should avoid prolonged use or use over large areas, and nursing mothers should not apply it to the breast area. Children are at higher risk for side effects due to their lower body weight relative to skin surface area, so they should use this medication under adult supervision, especially in sealed areas like diaper-wearing regions. This medication should not be used for purposes other than treatment and it is important not to use occlusive dressings without a doctor's guidance. Lastly, keep this medication out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
