Raficonasal Spray (Sodium Chloride)

Adult dosage

As needed, 1–8 sprays every 2–3 hours into each nostril. Insert the nozzle into the nasal cavity, angling the tip slightly back, then firmly press the pump to activate the spray and dispense a proper amount into both nostrils. After spraying, tilt your head to the right for 10 seconds, then to the left for another 10 seconds, and pinch your nose closed for 10 seconds while tilting your head forward.

Children's dosage

Infants: 1 spray 1 month to 12 months: 1–2 sprays 1 year to 2 years: 1–3 sprays 2 years to 5 years: 1–4 sprays 5 years to 8 years: 1–5 sprays 8 years and older: 1–6 sprays

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or any other components of this medication. If you have previously experienced allergic symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, or irritation after using nasal drops, consult a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before using this medication. Those receiving treatment, who have recently undergone nasal surgery, or have wounds in the nose should consult a professional before using this product. This medication should be used for nasal application only, and to maintain hygiene, it is advisable for one product to be used by one person only. When using, ensure that the liquid does not flow back into the throat by tilting the head sideways or maintaining a slightly reclined position. If the liquid enters the larynx, laryngeal spasms may occur, so caution is required. Benzalkonium chloride in this product may cause bronchospasms, especially with long-term use, leading to irritation or swelling in the nasal cavity. When storing, keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat, and do not use expired products. It is safest to store it out of the reach of children. Furthermore, if the medication is removed from its original container and stored in another, it may be misused or lose quality, so it must be stored in its original container with the lid tightly closed.
