Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Patients with essential hypertension use a combination therapy of telmisartan and amlodipine, but their blood pressure is still not appropriately controlled. These medicines help lower blood pressure and protect cardiovascular health, but if control is difficult even with combination therapy, additional treatments or lifestyle improvements may be needed. In such cases, it is important to consult with a doctor to review the treatment plan. Overall, this combination medication is used to reduce the risk of complications from hypertension by controlling blood pressure.
