Efficacy & effects

Improvement of essential hypertension blood pressure control

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This treatment is effective in lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with combination therapy of telmisartan and amlodipine. Essential hypertension can burden the heart and blood vessels, making proper medication control very important. This treatment can be considered when adequate blood pressure control cannot be achieved with existing therapies. Therefore, this treatment is used to improve the blood pressure of hypertensive patients who have difficulty managing their blood pressure, thus protecting their health.
