Precautions

This medication should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. If pregnancy is confirmed, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor. Patients with impaired liver function or advanced liver disease are at risk for serious side effects such as hepatic coma when taking this medication. Patients with severe renal disease should be cautious as the diuretic component of this medication may further impair kidney function. This medication or its components should not be used in specific patient populations, including those with allergies, certain cardiovascular diseases, severe hypotension, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Elderly patients or those with decreased kidney function should be closely monitored when taking this medication as there is a risk of excessively low blood pressure. Symptoms such as dizziness and fainting may occur if blood pressure drops too low. The risk of side effects, such as decreased kidney function and hyperkalemia, increases when this medication is combined with other antihypertensive drugs; therefore, regular blood tests and monitoring are necessary. Care should be taken regarding electrolyte imbalances, especially fluctuations in potassium and sodium levels, and supplementation or adjustment may be necessary. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur while driving or operating hazardous machinery. This medication can interact with various drugs, so if you are taking other medications, consult with a doctor or pharmacist. In case of overdose, severe hypotension, cardiac dysfunction, or electrolyte imbalances may occur, and immediate medical attention is required. This medication has not been established as safe for children and is not recommended for use.
