Improvement of acute bronchitis symptoms
This medication alleviates symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and shortness of breath caused by acute bronchitis and helps reduce respiratory inflammation, aiding in the rapid improvement of symptoms. It assists patients in breathing more comfortably and contributes to the overall recovery of respiratory health. Ultimately, it is used for improving symptoms of acute bronchitis.
For adults, take 2 tablets orally after meals three times a day.
This drug should be avoided in patients under 18 years of age with obesity, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, or severe pulmonary disease, as it may increase the risk of severe respiratory depression. People who are allergic to this drug or its components, or have a history of hypersensitivity reactions, should not take this medication. Additionally, patients taking or who have recently discontinued MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last two weeks should not be administered this drug. Children under 12 years of age, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, glaucoma patients, those with obstructive uropathy such as prostate enlargement, patients with bleeding tendencies or those taking anticoagulants, and patients with severe liver or kidney diseases should also not use this drug. This drug should be used with caution in individuals with allergic constitutions, those who have previously experienced drug allergy symptoms, and patients with liver or kidney disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, the elderly, or those with elevated intraocular pressure or urination problems. Additionally, patients with chronic cough due to smoking, asthma, or chronic bronchitis, as well as individuals with epilepsy, require careful consideration while using this drug. Drowsiness may occur during the use of this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery, and excessive use or prolonged use should be avoided. If symptoms of liver damage such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. In case of persistent fever for several days, respiratory distress, or blood-stained phlegm, seek medical advice promptly. It is safer not to take this medication in a lying position. Be cautious when taking this drug simultaneously with other cold medications, expectorants, antihistamines, or sedatives due to possible drug interactions, and be aware that combining it with alcohol or central nervous system depressants can intensify drowsiness. Women who are pregnant or possibly pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication, as it may suppress breast milk production and be transferred to breast milk. Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been established, particularly as children under 12 face a high risk of severe respiratory depression and should not be administered this medication. Elderly patients may have reduced body function, necessitating close observation of their condition when taking this medication. This drug may affect specific liver function tests and urine tests, so inform your doctor before testing. In cases of overdose, central nervous system abnormalities, seizures, respiratory distress, cardiovascular issues may arise, and immediate appropriate emergency care should be obtained. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to another container to preserve its quality.
