Precautions
This medication can cause severe poisoning and death if ingested in large quantities by children, so it must be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Those allergic to this medication or its components, babies under 12 months old, individuals with certain iron metabolism disorders, or those allergic to soybean oil, soybeans, or peanuts should not take this medication. During administration, this medicine should not be taken with specific drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, some antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa. If receiving treatment from a doctor or having gastrointestinal, heart, kidney diseases, or issues with blood or lipid metabolism, consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, rash, itching, abdominal pain, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or coma occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Also, caution is needed for long-term high-dose use as nerve damage may occur, and abnormal blood reactions may arise if taken with certain vitamins. In case of overdose or lack of symptom improvement, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and duration, and it is advisable to avoid tea containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking it. Patients with lipid metabolism issues should monitor blood lipid levels while taking this medication and adjust the dosage as necessary, considering the amount of other lipid agents administered concurrently. Store this medication out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, in a cool and dry, sealed place. It is also important to avoid transferring the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
