Precautions

This medication contains an ingredient called Terbinafine, which is used to treat fungal infections of the skin or nails. It should not be used by individuals who are allergic to Terbinafine or any components of this drug, or who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, must consult a doctor before using this medication. The safety of this drug during pregnancy has not been fully confirmed, but animal studies have shown no harm to the fetus. If a nursing mother uses this drug, the ingredients may be secreted into breast milk, so it is important to carefully weigh the risks to the baby against the benefits of this medication. The safety and efficacy of this drug have not been sufficiently verified for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, so its use is not recommended. If there is fungal infection in more than three areas of the nails or if a significant part of the nails is damaged, or if the patient has a history of diabetes, immunological diseases, blood circulation issues, or skin diseases, it is essential to consult a professional before using this medication. If there is pain or severe damage to the nails, or unusual symptoms such as yellow nail syndrome, it is also advisable to consult a professional before use. Extra caution is needed for individuals currently taking other medications or who have lesions that may worsen due to alcohol consumption. If the skin becomes severely red or irritation increases while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This drug is an external application only and should be used solely on the affected areas, avoiding contact with other areas until completely dry. Care should be taken to ensure it does not come into contact with mucous membranes around the eyes or mouth; if it does, wash immediately with clean water. It is recommended to avoid using nail polish or nail cosmetics while using this medication. This medication contains alcohol, which may cause stinging or burning sensations when applied to damaged skin, so caution is advised. If the treatment period is interrupted midway, the infection may not be completely cured and may worsen again, so it should be used continuously for the recommended duration. If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as possible and then resume the normal schedule for the next application. If this medication is accidentally ingested, contact a doctor or pharmacist immediately or visit the nearest hospital. This drug is minimally absorbed into the body, so the potential for interactions with other medications is low, but it is advisable not to use other medications concurrently on the affected areas. Systemic side effects are rare, even in the case of overdose, but appropriate treatment should be sought if symptoms appear. This drug should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container with the lid tightly closed. No special temperature control is necessary, but it should be kept away from light, heat, and flames. After opening, it must be used within six months, and care should be taken to prevent the contents from drying out.
