This medication is used as an adjunct treatment for wounds, burns, lacerations (e.g., nipple cracks during breastfeeding), pressure ulcers, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, skin ulcers, diaper rashes, and sunburn (solar dermatitis).

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

After cleansing the wound, apply 1-2 times daily to the affected area.

Children's dosage

For nipple cracks during breastfeeding, apply right after each feed.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have previously experienced an allergic reaction to this drug or its excipients. Moreover, individuals with skin conditions that are infected or exuding should not use this medication. When using this medication, care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and caution should be exercised to prevent contact with the eyes. If this medication is applied to sore or cracked nipples during breastfeeding, it must be thoroughly cleaned off before breastfeeding.
