This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above: Take 2 capsules 30 minutes after meals, 3 times a day

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15: Take 1 capsule 30 minutes after meals, 3 times a day

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which can rarely cause serious skin reactions. If symptoms of fever, red spots or small blisters on the skin appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to any of its ingredients or who have had asthma triggered by this medication or similar medications in the past. Additionally, it should be avoided by infants under 3 months of age, individuals taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or those who have recently discontinued them, as well as those with severe hypertension or kidney problems. Do not take other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines that suppress cough or reduce phlegm while taking this medication. In particular, children, individuals with high fevers or chronic illnesses, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, indigestion, dizziness, or insomnia appear after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and inform a healthcare professional. In the case of severe allergic reactions, severe inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, sudden headaches, visual disturbances, or asthma attacks, seek emergency medical treatment immediately. This medication is not recommended for children under 2 years of age except in special circumstances. When taking this medication, be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage instructions, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from drinking alcohol. Also, be cautious as this medication may cause drowsiness; it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery.
