This medication is used to alleviate various symptoms of cold, including a runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Age 15 and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If serious rashes or blisters appear on the skin during use, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. Care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose due to the presence of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Pseudoephedrine may cause severe skin reactions; hence, if fever, red spots, or small blisters develop, discontinue use and consult a professional. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or have experienced asthma, infants under three months of age, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, and individuals with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medication. It should not be taken with other cold medications, analgesics, cough medicines, sedatives, or antihistamines; it's essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Especially for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses, consulting a professional before use is crucial. If unusual symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, or severe headaches occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice. Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction; high fever accompanied by severe rash, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes → severe skin abnormal reaction; difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attack, cough + fever accompanied by breathing issues → respiratory problems; yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), widespread extreme fatigue → liver abnormalities (jaundice); sudden and very severe attacks.

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, hyperglycemia-induced metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
