Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

In patients with essential hypertension who have insufficient blood pressure control despite the use of a combination therapy with telmisartan and amlodipine, additional treatment options may need to be considered. These drugs are commonly used for hypertension management and help effectively lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. However, if blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either monotherapy or combination therapy, it is important to consult a physician to readjust the treatment plan. Management of essential hypertension requires consistent care to prevent cardiovascular complications, and these drugs are used in the treatment of hypertension.
