View approved original text

This medication effectively lowers LDL cholesterol in adult patients at high risk for coronary artery disease, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. However, it is used in patients with mixed dyslipidemia who have high triglyceride levels and low HDL cholesterol levels. This contributes to an overall improvement in blood lipid levels, maintaining cardiovascular health. Therefore, this medication is effectively used for the treatment of mixed dyslipidemia.
