Therefore, this medication helps improve symptoms of these bone-related diseases and aids in health recovery.

How to take

Adult dose

Chronic renal failure and osteoporosis: For alfacalcidol, administer 0.5 to 1 ㎍ once daily orally. Hypoparathyroidism and other vitamin D metabolic disorders: For this medication, administer 1 to 4 ㎍ once daily orally.

Child dose

Osteoporosis: For alfacalcidol, administer 0.01 to 0.03 ㎍ per kg of body weight once daily orally. Other disorders: For this medication, administer 0.05 to 0.1 ㎍ per kg of body weight once daily orally.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with abnormally high levels of calcium, phosphorus, or magnesium in the blood.
