This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and feelings of heaviness in the head caused by the common cold (acute rhinitis), allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. Taking this medication when experiencing these symptoms will help you breathe comfortably and facilitate daily activities. It helps reduce inflammation in the nose and sinuses to improve symptoms.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adolescents aged 12 years and older or adults, spray once into each nostril (nasal cavity) up to 3 times a day. The dosing interval should be at least 8 hours apart.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under the age of 12, especially those under 7 years old or 2 years old. People who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not use it. Individuals currently taking or who have recently discontinued (within 2 weeks) use of MAO inhibitors, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anti-Parkinson agents, should not use this medication. If you have conditions such as smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or a cough lasting over a week with fever or rash, consult a professional before using this medication.
