Antos Capsule (Dried Grape Leaf Extract)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 360 mg of grape leaf extract once daily with water before breakfast.

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to specific ingredients or have hypersensitivity reactions. Additionally, it is safe for children and adolescents to avoid taking this medication. Patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption should specifically avoid this capsule formulation. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant are advised not to take this medication. Breastfeeding women should also avoid this medication as it may be passed into breast milk and should consult a specialist. Women who may become pregnant should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains color additive Yellow No. 5, so caution is needed if there is an allergy to this component. If symptoms like rash, itching, skin eruption, photosensitivity, or eczema occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Gastrointestinal symptoms like stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhea may occur rarely, so consult a specialist if these symptoms appear. Headaches may also occur, so if symptoms persist, notify a healthcare professional. Particularly, if sudden pain, swelling, or skin discoloration occurs in one leg, it may indicate a serious vascular issue, and immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after more than 6 weeks of use, discontinue and consult a specialist to investigate other potential causes. There is not enough research on the effects of this medication on driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. Severe side effects have not been reported in case of overdose, but the recommended dosage should always be adhered to. Treatments such as wearing leg wraps or compression stockings, and washing with cold water, should continue regardless of this medication. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, if the medication is removed from its original container and stored in another, its quality may deteriorate or it may be misused, so it should be kept in its original container.
