Precautions

This medication should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membrane areas. Avoid use on areas with bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or skin infections caused by animals as it may worsen the symptoms. It is recommended to not use this medication in areas with suppuration or if there has been hypersensitivity to this drug or a history of such reactions. Patients with eczematous otitis externa who have perforations in the eardrum should not use this medication as healing may be delayed. Individuals with ulcers, severe burns or frostbite, dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea should also avoid using this medication. Those with a history of allergic reactions to drugs or cosmetics or a family history of allergic predisposition should use it with caution. Precautions should be taken for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children, or if receiving treatment for other conditions, or if the affected area is extensive. This medication contains propylene glycol, so those allergic to this substance should be particularly careful. If symptoms of skin infection, rashes, itching, or skin irritation occur during use, stop using it immediately and consult a professional. When used over a long period or large areas, there may be side effects such as skin thinning or vascular dilation, so caution is needed. Using this medication extensively or for prolonged periods can affect the hormonal balance in the body, so regular check-ups are recommended. Care should be taken when applying close to the eyes as it may cause increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and avoid contact with the eyes. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not use this medication for an extended period or on large areas, and if necessary, it should only be used under medical guidance. Breastfeeding women should also exercise caution as the medication may transfer into breast milk. Children absorb more of the drug relative to their body surface area and have a higher risk of side effects, so they should use it under parental supervision. This medication should only be used externally and should not be ingested. It is advisable to clean the affected area before use and avoid using occlusive dressings without medical advice. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and do not use products that have expired.
