The recommended initial dose is 10/5 mg, 10/10 mg, or 10/20 mg daily. Precautions

This medication has been reported to cause a rare side effect called rhabdomyolysis, which can lead to serious muscle problems. Therefore, if sudden muscle pain or weakness occurs, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. Patients at high risk for muscle issues, such as those who have had a severe infection, major surgery, or impaired kidney function, may need to temporarily pause or discontinue the use of this medication. This medication can affect liver function, so patients with liver disease or abnormally high liver enzyme levels should not use it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication. Patients who are allergic to any of the components in this medication or have muscle disorders should also avoid taking it. Patients with a history of alcohol abuse, liver disease, the elderly, or those with hypothyroidism should use this medication with caution, and report any symptoms of muscle pain or weakness to their physician immediately. This medication may interact with other drugs, especially those metabolized in the liver or those that may affect the muscles, so caution is warranted when taking them together. Regular liver function tests and muscle enzyme tests should be conducted to check for abnormalities during treatment. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness or headaches may occur, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so appropriate treatment and supportive care based on symptoms is important.
