How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 12 years and older, take once daily, one tablet at a time.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or women who may become pregnant if taking more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to reduce the risk of congenital malformations. Children, especially those under 6 years of age, are at severe risk of toxicity if they overdose on the iron contained in this medication, so it should be stored out of reach of children. Individuals with hypercalcemia, kidney disease, or certain inflammatory diseases should not use this medication. Additionally, those allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months old, and patients with hyperkalemia should also avoid use.
