Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults should apply to the wound and surrounding skin several times a day, gently massaging. For hypertrophic scars, it may be thickly applied the day before and secured with a bandage for overnight application.

Children's dosage

Children over 2 years old should apply to the wound and surrounding skin several times a day, gently massaging.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergy to its ingredients. Do not use this medication on infants under 6 months old. People who have had allergic reactions to heparin, have bleeding that does not stop easily, or have low platelet counts should not use this medication. Do not apply this medication on unhealed wounds or surgical incisions. This medication should not be used on mucous membranes or infected areas with pus.
