This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 capsules 30 minutes after meals, three times a day

Child dose

Children over 7 years to under 15 years: 1 capsule 30 minutes after meals, three times a day

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine and may rarely cause severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If you develop fever or a large number of red spots and small blisters on your skin, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Do not take this medication if you have had an allergic reaction to it or similar ingredients in the past. Avoid this medication if you have a history of asthma, are under 3 months of age, are taking specific antidepressants or psychotropic drugs, or have severe hypertension or kidney disease. Do not take this medication concurrently with cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines while using this medication. Particularly, children, infants, those with allergic predispositions, liver, heart, kidney, or thyroid problems, patients with hypertension, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, vomiting, indigestion, dizziness, severe headache, or difficulty breathing occur while taking this medication, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional immediately. This medication is not for use in children under 2 years of age and should only be taken after a doctor's consultation if necessary. Adhere strictly to the dosage and do not take it for a prolonged period; avoid alcohol while taking it and be aware that drowsiness may occur, thus avoiding driving or operating machinery. Rare side effects affecting the cardiovascular system have been reported, so individuals with heart disease should exercise caution.
