How to take

Adult dose

This medication is administered orally once a day and should be taken at the same time every day. If necessary, it can be taken twice a day. Precautions

This medicine should not be administered to patients with an allergy to any of its ingredients. It should also not be used in patients with severely impaired liver function or significantly decreased kidney function. Patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures, or those who have a propensity to develop epilepsy, should use this medication with caution. In particular, concomitant use with medications such as amantadine, ketamine, and dextromethorphan may increase central nervous system side effects, and thus should be avoided. Patients with conditions that may cause changes in urinary acidity (pH) or dietary changes should be closely monitored when taking this medication. Patients with myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, or uncontrolled hypertension do not have sufficient safety data for this medication, so it should be administered cautiously. Taking this medication may cause side effects such as dizziness, headache, constipation, drowsiness, and hypertension. Psychological confusion, hallucinations, and psychotic symptoms may rarely occur, so if symptoms arise, consultation with healthcare personnel is necessary. This medication may interact with other drugs, so it is essential to inform your healthcare provider about any medications currently being taken. In particular, monitoring is required when taken with antipsychotics, skeletal muscle relaxants, or anticoagulants. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should consult with a physician before taking this medication. If breastfeeding, it is recommended to discontinue breastfeeding as this medication may pass into breast milk. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established for children and adolescents under 18 years, so its use is discouraged.
