This medication is used to relieve several symptoms commonly associated with colds. It reduces nasal symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing, as well as throat discomfort like sore throat and phlegm. It also helps in alleviating body aches associated with chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. By relieving these symptoms, it effectively reduces discomfort caused by colds and helps maintain daily activities.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages over 15 years and adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Ages over 7 years to under 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage if taken by individuals who consume three or more alcoholic beverages regularly, so it's essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, serious skin rashes or allergic reactions may rarely occur, and if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. Do not exceed the daily maximum dosage of 4,000mg of acetaminophen and avoid taking other products containing acetaminophen while using this medication. If symptoms such as fever, rash, or multiple small blisters occur due to the presence of pseudoephedrine, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this drug or its components, have experienced asthma, infants under three months old, those taking or have recently stopped specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or those with severe hypertension or kidney diseases should not take this medication. During treatment, avoid using cough or phlegm medications, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, antihistamines, etc. in combination. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies or previous drug allergies, and individuals with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases should definitely consult a professional before use. If unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, loss of appetite, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. In particular, if severe allergic reactions, skin mucous membrane syndrome, asthma attacks, liver function abnormalities, pneumonia symptoms, severe headaches, or visual disturbances occur, discontinue use immediately. Children under two years of age should not take this medication, and if absolutely necessary, they should consult a doctor first. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency during use, avoid prolonged use, and ensure adult supervision is present when used by children. Avoid alcohol during treatment and be cautious, as drowsiness may occur; therefore, avoid driving or operating machinery. There is a rare possibility of metabolic acidosis when used in conjunction with certain antibiotics, so be cautious. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container, away from children's reach, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping it in a cool, dry place.

  • Severe rash, blisters, peeling skin, pain in oral/ocular mucosa accompanied by high fever → severe skin adverse reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory abnormalities associated with cough and fever → respiratory problems
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)
  • Sudden and severe headaches.

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, dryness, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
