The combination therapy of telmisartan and esaxerenone (amlodipine) is used in patients with essential hypertension for whom blood pressure control is difficult with a single-drug treatment. This medication should be taken once daily, one tablet, with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning) if possible. This medication 40/2.5/12.5 mg can be administered to patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with the combination therapy of telmisartan/esaxerenone (amlodipine), and dosages should be adjusted considering the patient’s blood pressure response with an interval of more than 2 weeks between adjustments.
