Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Patients are receiving treatment with a combination of telmisartan and esamlodipine (amlodipine), but their blood pressure is still not sufficiently controlled. Essential hypertension occurs without a specific cause, and managing blood pressure is crucial for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. In this case, additional treatment options may need to be considered or medication adjustments may be necessary. Continuous blood pressure monitoring and lifestyle improvements should also be practiced. This therapy is used to improve blood pressure control in essential hypertension.
