This medication is used to treat organic brain dysfunction accompanied by dementia-related symptoms such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration disorders, depression, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

Organic brain dysfunction: 120 mg (1 capsule) of ginkgo leaf dry extract orally twice a day. Adjust doses appropriately based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with known allergic reactions to it. Children under 12 years should not use this medication due to insufficient experience with it. Pregnant women should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Individuals allergic to soybean oil or peanuts should avoid taking this medication. Those with bleeding disorders or who are taking blood-thinning medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult a specialist as it is unclear whether this medication passes into breast milk. Patients with lipid metabolism issues, hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should take this medication with caution. This medication contains a dye called Yellow 5, so individuals allergic to it should be cautious. Those scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medication and consult their healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after three months of use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur, so caution is advised. Adverse reactions such as dizziness or itching have been reported rarely, so inform a specialist if symptoms occur. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur; if unusual symptoms arise, consult a healthcare provider immediately. Patients in a state of excess fat should monitor blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage of this medication accordingly. If receiving other lipid injections, adjust the dosage considering the lipid components in this medication. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so hypertensive patients may require separate treatment. Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, in a tightly closed container with low humidity.
