How to take

Adult dose

For chronic kidney failure and osteoporosis, take 0.5-1 µg of Alfacalcidol orally once a day. For hypoparathyroidism and other diseases caused by vitamin D metabolic disorders, take 1-4 µg of this medication orally once a day.

Child dose

For osteoporosis, take 0.01-0.03 µg per kg of body weight orally once a day. For other conditions, take 0.05-0.1 µg per kg of body weight orally once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with abnormally high levels of calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium in the blood.
