Precautions

This medication may cause severe damage to the fetus during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so pregnant women should not take it. Patients with liver dysfunction may experience fluid and electrolyte imbalances, leading to a risk of hepatic coma, thus caution is needed. Patients with severe kidney disease should use this medication carefully due to the diuretic component that may worsen kidney function. Those who are allergic to any ingredient in this medication, as well as individuals with specific heart and liver diseases, hypotension, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should not take this medication. Particular caution is necessary when administering this medication to patients with aortic stenosis, obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal diseases, or renal artery hypertension. Regular monitoring is required as this medication can cause side effects such as excessively low blood pressure, electrolyte imbalances, kidney function abnormalities, and liver function abnormalities. In the case of a sudden drop in blood pressure, the patient should be laid down immediately and may require intravenous fluid therapy at a hospital. This medication may interact with other antihypertensives, diuretics, certain analgesics, and lithium products, so it is essential to inform a doctor or pharmacist of any other medications being taken. If planning to become pregnant or if pregnancy is confirmed, this medication should be discontinued immediately, and medical consultation should be sought. Breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and caution is advised as dizziness or drowsiness may occur while driving or operating machinery during its use. Elderly patients or those with weakened kidney or liver function have a higher risk of side effects with this medication, hence careful observation is necessary. In case of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, dizziness, and heart function abnormalities may occur, requiring immediate hospital treatment.
