Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who are allergic to this drug or its components, those taking certain antiviral medications, and pregnant or nursing women should not take this medication. Patients with liver or kidney function problems, as well as the elderly, should use this medication cautiously. During treatment, gastrointestinal issues such as nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia, as well as neurological symptoms such as headache and dizziness may occur. Additionally, rare symptoms such as skin rash, myalgia, and fatigue may also occur, and any unusual symptoms should be consulted with a physician. Long-term use of this medication may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, requiring regular check-ups. Care must be taken to ensure gastric ulcers or esophageal diseases are not confused with malignant tumors, and long-term use may increase the risk of gastric polyps or osteoporosis-related fractures. Furthermore, this medication can inhibit gastric acid secretion, increasing the risk of gastrointestinal bacterial infections; if diarrhea persists, medical consultation is necessary. Safety in children and adolescents has not been established, and elderly patients or those with liver or kidney disorders should be especially cautious.
