This medicine, Pitavastatin 2 mg monotherapy, helps effectively regulate LDL cholesterol levels in adult patients at high risk of coronary artery disease. However, triglyceride levels may remain high, and it is used in patients with complex dyslipidemia showing low HDL cholesterol levels. This medicine particularly contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease by improving LDL cholesterol.
