This medication is used in adult patients at high risk of coronary artery disease. It helps to adequately lower LDL cholesterol levels and is effective in combined dyslipidemia. However, triglyceride levels may be somewhat high, and HDL cholesterol levels may tend to be low. Therefore, it is used to comprehensively manage the patient's lipid profile. This medication improves blood lipid levels, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, it is beneficial for patients with these symptoms.

How to take

The recommended dose is to take one tablet once daily immediately after a meal.

Precautions

This medication is used to lower blood lipids and may have side effects that can affect the muscles, so caution is needed. If symptoms such as muscle pain, muscle weakness, or muscle cramps occur, consult a physician immediately and a blood test may be performed to check for muscle damage. This medication should not be administered to patients with poor kidney function, liver disease, gallbladder disease, or pancreatitis. Additionally, elderly patients over 65 years of age, women, patients with hypothyroidism, and alcohol-dependent patients should exercise particular caution before taking this medication.
