It is also effective in alleviating symptoms of inflammation around the mouth and in the oral cavity, such as angular cheilitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, and glossitis. It is beneficial for skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis and is used to relieve symptoms of muscle cramps caused by magnesium deficiency. With these efficacy properties, this medication helps improve various physical discomforts and symptoms.
How to take
Adult dose
For those aged 12 years and older and adults: Take 20 mL once daily.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by people who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Infants under 12 months old or patients with severe renal impairment should also avoid taking this medication. During the use of this medication, it is important not to take phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and medications like levodopa together. Women undergoing medical treatment, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing women, premature infants, infants, patients with heart or circulatory problems, patients with renal disorders, and patients with hypoproteinemia should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, this medication contains caramel, so those with allergies to caramel or who have had hypersensitivity reactions should use it cautiously. If any symptoms such as red spots on the skin, diarrhea, irregular heartbeats, or central nervous system depression occur after taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. Taking pyridoxine at doses over 500mg to 2g daily for a prolonged period may lead to peripheral nerve issues, so caution is required. High-dose use may worsen peptic ulcers or cause issues with blood sugar control, as well as increase the risk of elevated blood uric acid levels or liver damage. Gastrointestinal and cardiovascular symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may also occur, so caution should be exercised. Taking this medication with drugs like aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may dangerously increase blood potassium levels, so careful attention is required. If an overdose occurs or if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than a month, consult a healthcare professional immediately. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dose, and it may turn urine yellow, affecting clinical test results. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, before and after taking this medication. Finally, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to another container to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
