This medication helps effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who are not adequately controlled with monotherapy of Candesaritan Cilexetil or Es-Amlodipine (Amlodipine), thereby improving blood pressure management.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). - 8/2.5 mg: Administer Candesaritan Cilexetil 8 mg or Es-Amlodipine 2.5 mg (Amlodipine 5 mg) to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled. - 16/2.5 mg: Administer Candesaritan Cilexetil 16 mg.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established for adolescents and children under 18 years of age; hence, administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
