Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Candesartan cilexetil and amlodipine (Amlodipine) are used for patients with essential hypertension. These drugs lower blood pressure and can be used in combination when monotherapy does not sufficiently control blood pressure, helping to manage it more effectively. By stabilizing blood pressure, they contribute to reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications. Therefore, they are used for the treatment of essential hypertension.
