Precautions

This medication should not be used on open wounds or mucosal areas. If there is a bacterial, fungal, viral infection, or infection caused by animals on the skin, this medication should be avoided as it may worsen symptoms. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not use it. Patients with eczema of the external ear with a perforated eardrum should avoid using this medication as healing may be delayed. It should not be used in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited and healing may be prolonged. This medication is not recommended for use in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Caution is advised for individuals with allergies to specific antibiotics when using this medication. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women and nursing mothers should use this medication cautiously, especially if they have allergies to propylene glycol. When used in children and infants, supervision by a guardian is required. Prolonged or extensive use may result in skin infections or various adverse skin reactions, and if symptoms worsen during use, discontinuation and consultation with a specialist are necessary. This medication contains a steroid component, which may cause side effects such as skin thinning, pigmentation changes, and acne with long-term use. Care should be taken when using around the eyes, as it may lead to increased intraocular pressure or diseases such as glaucoma. Long-term use under occlusive dressing may pose a risk of systemic side effects, necessitating special caution. Using this medication during pregnancy may affect the fetus, so it is recommended to use it in the smallest amount for the shortest duration possible. Nursing mothers should also consult a specialist, as the use of this medication may affect the baby. Children are at higher risk for side effects than adults, requiring more caution during use, especially when applied to diapered areas due to the occlusive dressing effect. This medication should not be applied directly to the eyes; if it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek ophthalmic care if necessary. Do not use for purposes other than treatment, and do not use occlusive dressings without a doctor's instruction. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and caution is warranted for psoriasis patients, as prolonged use may worsen skin conditions.
