The vitamins D and E contained in this medication help provide appropriate nutrition during pregnancy, lactation, growth, and old age. In particular, vitamin D is effective in improving deficiencies in bone and dental development and preventing rickets. Therefore, this medication is used to support growth and development and maintain healthy bones.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), sarcoidosis (an unknown cause systemic inflammatory disease), or kidney diseases. Additionally, individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should avoid taking this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable to avoid concurrent use with drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Women undergoing medical treatment, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, lactating women, premature infants and young children, patients with heart or circulatory issues, renal impairment, patients with hypoalbuminemia, patients on heart medications, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, constipation, skin rash, hypotension, flushing, or irregular heartbeat occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, if the menstrual cycle becomes more frequent or bleeding persists, consult a specialist, and women taking contraceptive pills containing estrogen should be cautious as the risk of thrombosis may increase. In case of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur, and long-term use can lead to hypercalcemia and nephrolithiasis, so caution is needed. In particular, when taken with certain diuretics, hyperkalemia may occur, so caution is also advised, and if there is no improvement in symptoms after overdose or use for more than one month, consult a specialist. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it is advisable to avoid consuming tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea before and after taking it. When storing, keep it in a tightly sealed container out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Additionally, to maintain quality, do not transfer to other containers.
