Precautions

It is very important for people with certain diseases not to take this medication. Avoid use in cases of inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal obstruction, or unexplained abdominal pain. Additionally, individuals with galactosemia or at risk of gastrointestinal perforation should not use this medication. Those who are allergic to any components of this medication should also avoid it. Because it contains lactose, individuals with genetic lactose-related issues should not take it. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and infants or children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Elderly patients, diabetes patients, and those with electrolyte imbalances should also consult with a professional prior to use. In particular, patients with acute gastritis or chronic constipation are advised to first try dietary changes or exercise rather than using this medication. If taking this medication along with other specific drugs, there may be interactions, so be sure to consult with a professional. If constipation does not improve after one week of use, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Sudden changes in bowel habits or overdose may result in abdominal pain, diarrhea, and symptoms of electrolyte imbalance, so if these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Long-term or excessive use can lead to dependence of bowel function on the drug, so caution is necessary. If diarrhea or loose stools occur, reduce or stop the dose, and be aware that gastrointestinal symptoms may also develop. If undergoing electrocoagulation during an examination, the risk of explosion from intestinal hydrogen gas may occur, so ensure adequate cleansing of the intestines prior to the examination. Long-term use may result in fluid loss or electrolyte imbalances, necessitating regular check-ups. When children take this medication, be aware of the risk of dental caries and maintain good oral hygiene. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should always consult with a professional before taking this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored tightly in its original container to maintain quality.
