Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

After completely drying the hair and scalp, apply 0.5-1 mL of this medication to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 4 months. Do not exceed a total daily dosage of 2 mL.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by female patients or by those under 18 years of age. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components should also not use it. Patients with heart or blood pressure issues, particularly those with coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, or valvular heart disease, should avoid using this medication. Moreover, it should be avoided by individuals without genetic factors for hair loss or who have suddenly developed partial hair loss, as well as those with inflammation, infections, or irritation of the scalp. Patients who are using other topical scalp medications, anyone who has shaved their scalp, and those who are intolerant to the concentration of this medication should also avoid it. When using this medication, it is advisable not to use it together with topical corticosteroids, retinoids, or petroleum jelly, and caution should be exercised for patients taking vasodilators as blood pressure may drop significantly. Elderly individuals over the age of 55 or those with edema or thyroid dysfunction should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. This medication contains propylene glycol, and it should be used with caution by individuals who are allergic to this component. If symptoms such as itching, redness, inflammation, or worsening hair loss occur while using this product, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur, and cardiac symptoms may include chest pain or changes in heart rate. Multiple organs such as the respiratory system, nervous system, liver, and kidneys may be affected, so if any unusual symptoms arise, consult medical staff immediately. At the beginning of use, hair loss may temporarily worsen, but if it persists for more than 2 weeks or if there is no effect after 4 months, consult a specialist. Excessive use can negatively impact the heart and blood pressure, so it is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage, and it should not be applied to areas other than the scalp. This medication should be used exclusively topically and the occlusive dressing method should not be employed; care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes or open wounds. After use, hands should be washed thoroughly, and hair styling products should only be used after the medication has completely dried, ensuring proper scalp ventilation.
