This medication is used for various skin dryness and keratin problems such as progressive palmoplantar keratoderma (dry type of housewives' eczema), dyshidrotic eczema, ichthyosis (dry skin symptom resembling fish scales), senile xerosis (skin dryness), keratosis pilaris, and atopic dermatitis. This drug helps improve skin dryness and keratin, maintaining a moist and healthy skin condition.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Wash the affected area (the area of the condition) once a day to several times a day and apply this medication, rubbing it in thoroughly.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on mucous membranes, especially on the conjunctiva of the eyes. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to the components in this medication should avoid using it. It is recommended not to use it on patients with acute eczema or inflammatory skin diseases. Patients with renal insufficiency should be cautious, as applying this medication over large areas may pose risks. When used on inflamed or cracked skin, temporary irritation symptoms may occur, so it should be used carefully. Individuals sensitive to skin irritation may also experience temporary irritation symptoms when using this medication, so caution is necessary. This medication contains propylene glycol, and individuals with hypersensitivity or allergic history to this ingredient should use it with caution. Additionally, it contains sodium thiosulfate, which may cause severe allergic reactions or asthma attacks in some patients, so especially asthmatics should be vigilant. During use, irritation symptoms such as pain, warmth, flushing, and itching may occur, and use should be discontinued if these symptoms are severe or persistent. If hypersensitivity reactions occur, cease the use of the medication immediately and consult a physician. If symptoms such as eczema, cracks, tingling, burning, swelling, dry skin, etc., develop, stop using it before they worsen. This medication may enhance the skin absorption of other drugs, so caution is needed when used with corticosteroids or certain chemotherapeutics. This medication is for topical use only and should not be applied directly on wounds or ulcerated areas; care should be taken to avoid contact with mucous membranes such as the eyes, nose, and mouth. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children.
