Precautions

This drug should be used with caution in women during the first three months of pregnancy or in women of childbearing potential when taking vitamin A in doses exceeding 5,000 IU per day, as it may cause congenital malformations. Patients with hypersensitivity to the ingredients in this drug, infants under three months of age, or those allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this product. This drug should not be taken concurrently with levodopa. Infants under one year old, patients undergoing treatment, patients with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or lactating women, premature infants, patients with gout, kidney stone patients, and those with lipid metabolism disorders must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this drug. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, itching, dry and rough skin, joint swelling, gastric discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, rash, or increased bleeding occur during use, stop taking immediately and consult an expert. Particularly for women, caution is needed as the risk of thrombosis may increase when taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and prolonged high doses of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) may cause nerve damage. Additionally, high-dose use may lead to peptic ulcers, blood sugar control disorders, hyperuricemia, liver damage, and increased risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Dosage must strictly follow the prescribed method and dosage, and care is needed when administering to children. Vitamin A can be sufficiently obtained from regular meals, so care should be taken that the dosage as a supplement does not exceed 5,000 IU per day. During administration, some clinical test results, particularly blood sugar tests, may be affected, and urine may turn yellow, which should be taken into account. Patients at risk of lipid overload should monitor their blood lipid levels and adjust the dose of this drug accordingly; if used with other lipid injectables, the total lipid amount should be considered when adjusting the dosage. When storing, keep in a closed container that blocks light, maintain a storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, and avoid direct sunlight and transferring to another container to maintain quality.
