Treatment of essential hypertension and hypercholesterolemia (reducing cardiovascular disease risk, etc.)
This medication is used as an alternative treatment for patients taking nebivolol and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Nebivolol primarily helps manage essential hypertension and mild to moderate chronic heart failure in elderly patients over 70 years old. Rosuvastatin is used to control hypercholesterolemia, especially familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, in conjunction with dietary and exercise therapies. It is also effective in reducing cardiovascular disease risk and contributes to lowering the risk of complications such as stroke, myocardial infarction, and complications after arterial revascularization. Thus, this medication is used to improve blood pressure and cardiovascular health and control blood cholesterol levels to lower cardiovascular risk.
This medication is administered for the convenience of patients who are taking nebivolol and rosuvastatin simultaneously, with a dosage of one tablet per day.
