This medication is used as an alternative treatment for patients taking nebivolol and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Nebivolol is used as an adjunct treatment for essential hypertension or chronic heart failure in the elderly. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to diet in patients with primary and mixed hyperlipidemia, and familial hypercholesterolemia. It also effectively lowers total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis. It helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, myocardial infarction, and risks after vascular interventions. Therefore, this drug is utilized for hypertension, heart failure, hypercholesterolemia, and reduction of cardiovascular disease risk.
