However, it should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to flurbiprofen or similar medications. In addition, those with a certain asthma condition known as aspirin-induced asthma or who have experienced such symptoms in the past should be cautious when using this medication, as it may trigger an asthma attack. When there is a skin infection involved, using this medication alone may hide the infection; therefore, it should be used alongside appropriate antibiotics or antifungals while monitoring the situation closely. When used for chronic conditions, other treatment methods should be considered in addition to drug therapy, and monitoring for side effects should be done carefully. For early and mid-pregnancy, it is generally advisable not to use this medication unless absolutely necessary, and if it is used, the dose should be lower and the duration should be as short as possible. In late pregnancy, it should absolutely not be used due to serious risks to both the fetus and mother. The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently established in children, so it is best to avoid using it in this population. Elderly individuals may have weakened skin, so care should be taken when using this medication on application sites. Finally, this medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes, or areas with eczema or rash, and it is important to clean sweat off the skin before application.
