Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, those with sarcoidosis, a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin, and individuals with kidney disease. Prolonged use may lead to excessive calcium and kidney stones, hence caution is necessary, and taking it with certain diuretics may increase the risk of high potassium levels in the blood.
