Precautions

This medication contains salicylic acid and is to be used as a topical application. There may be cases when this medication should not be used. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or have previously experienced hypersensitive reactions should not use it. Additionally, people with diabetes or circulatory disorders should not use this medication. It must not be applied around the eyes, mouth, or nose, and should not be used on infected, inflamed, or reddened areas of the skin. Consulting a doctor or pharmacist before use is recommended in certain cases. Special caution is needed for individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to drugs or cosmetics or have liver or kidney function issues. This medication contains propylene glycol, and those allergic to this ingredient should use it cautiously. If any adverse reactions such as rash, redness, itching, or red spots occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Using this medication for extended periods or large areas may lead to dermatitis or skin ulcers, so caution is needed. Furthermore, irritation may occur when it contacts normal skin, so care should be taken. If symptoms do not improve after several applications, discontinue use and consult a specialist. Special caution should be observed when using on children or teenagers with chickenpox or influenza, as this medication may trigger a rare condition known as Reye's syndrome. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed method and dosage for topical use only, and it must be applied only after appropriate treatment has been administered to abscessed, moist, or macerated skin. Caution is necessary when applying to larger areas, as the risk of side effects increases, and care should be taken to avoid contact with skin other than the treatment area. Avoid contact with mucous membranes such as the eyes, nose, and mouth, and if it accidentally enters the eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with clean water and follow the doctor's instructions. If this medication is accidentally ingested, consult a specialist immediately. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should be particularly cautious when using this medication. Cases of malformation have been reported in animal studies, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits outweigh the risks. Since the components of this medication can be transmitted through breast milk, it is advisable not to apply it to the breast area while breastfeeding. When using this medication on children, it must be done cautiously under the supervision of a guardian, as children may experience side effects more readily, and they should not use it for long periods on large areas. When storing, keep this medication out of the reach of children, avoid sunlight, and store it in a cool place. Do not transfer the medication from its original container to another, and ensure that the lid is tightly closed when not in use. It is also prudent to keep it away from flames.
