Relief of musculoskeletal pain (myalgia, arthritis, etc.) and post-traumatic swelling and pain
This medication is used to relieve various pain and inflammation conditions including degenerative arthritis, adhesive capsulitis, tendinitis and tenosynovitis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), muscle pain, and post-traumatic swelling and pain. Patients should understand that this medication helps reduce inflammation and pain around the joints or muscles, improving discomfort in daily life. Therefore, this medication is effectively used as a therapeutic agent for pain relief and inflammation reduction.
After removing the release liner from the patch, apply it to the affected area twice daily.
This medication contains an ingredient called flurbiprofen, which helps reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. However, individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or those with a specific asthmatic condition known as aspirin-induced asthma should not use this medication. Patients with asthma should be very cautious when using this medication as an asthma attack may occur. If symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, or burning sensation appear while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately. If initial symptoms of an asthma attack such as shortness of breath, wheezing, or difficulty breathing occur, stop using this medication and consult with a healthcare professional. This medication helps alleviate symptoms but is not a cure for the underlying cause. Therefore, if inflammation occurs alongside an infection, it should be used in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals. Those with chronic conditions should not rely solely on this medication and should consider other treatment options as well, while closely monitoring for any side effects. During pregnancy, especially during the first two trimesters, it is recommended not to use this medication unless absolutely necessary, and if it must be used, it should be at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. In the third trimester of pregnancy, this medication should not be used as it may pose risks to the mother and fetus. The safety of this medication in children has not been sufficiently established, so its use is not recommended. Elderly patients should be careful and monitor the application site closely due to potentially sensitive skin.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that does not allow light in. Additionally, the medication should be kept in a place that is neither too hot nor too cold, ideally at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This way, the medication's effectiveness can be maintained for an extended period.
