Additionally, vitamin D effectively improves bone and dental growth disorders and prevents rickets. Therefore, this medication is used to enhance overall physical strength, support healthy growth, and maintain bone health.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, patients with sarcoidosis, which is an unknown cause of systemic inflammatory disease, or patients with kidney disease. Additionally, people with allergic reactions to the ingredients in this medication, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal insufficiency should not take this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids together with this medication. Women receiving medical treatment, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and infants should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with heart or circulatory problems, kidney disorders, and hypoproteinemia, as well as patients taking cardiac glycosides and those with a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before use. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rash occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Overdose may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, and prolonged use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is needed. Particularly, careful attention is required when taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and avoid consuming tannin-containing teas, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking the medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry, and sealed place. Additionally, to maintain quality, it is important not to transfer to another container.
